It’s that time of year again, folks! Time to round up family and friends (or just your favorite hankie) and head on down to The Brattle for our annual screenings of this Yuletide classic. Sure, it’s sentimental–it’s supposed to be! But it also strikes so many chords of humor, pathos, fantasy, and true emotion that it rises far above being a standard melodrama.
